Uncertainty and Decision Making
How do people change their mind and hearts? Modeling opinions and their spread in social groups allows us to understand how cognitive, social and network factors can affect opinion dynamics. Machines can learn people’s opinions and adapt to maximize their persuasiveness. How do machines and people interact? How do misinformation, polarization or intelligence emerge from this interaction?
